Currently, Aquatech has an immediate need for a full-time Quality Program Manager. This position can be remote with travel to work in our Canonsburg, PA corp office and client site locations in Europe. The Quality Program Manager will perform the duties described in the job description below and will be considered an Exempt employee.

The ideal candidate will be familiar with inspection and test plans, supplier quality document control, and the quality management of suppliers and contractors.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Graduate or Five (5) or more years of relevant experience.
• Valid driver's license
• Valid passport for travel
• Ability to travel to Europe for extended periods of time and obtain a work visa abroad.
• Experience with inspecting piping, pressure vessels, and structural fabrications to the relevant codes mentioned in the below SKILLs section.
• Experience will supplier surveillance and quality documentation such as WPS / PQRs, NDE reports, and material certificates.

• Beneficial Experience (preferred but not required):
  • Supervisory experience, quality auditing, quality management, or ISO 9001: 2015
  • CWI, NDE, and auditor certifications are a plus

Job Description:

The Quality Program Manager will assist in identifying and evaluating fabricators and manufacturers who can perform work in accordance with the European Pressure Directive (EU PED) 2014/68/EU. This will be done using quality surveys and potentially audits of identified supplier.

The Quality Program Manager may assist suppliers and fabricators in developing necessary quality related procedures to deliver equipment that meets all Aquatech and European Pressure Directive (EU PED) 2014/68/EU requirements.

The Quality Program manager will be the liaison between internal Aquatech technical personnel, the fabricators and suppliers and the Notified Body overseeing the work.

Skill Requirements:

• Strong written and verbal professional communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of AWS and ASME Sections VIII, V, IX, ASMEB31.1, ASME B31.3, and AWS D1.1
• Supply Management – scheduling and expediating experience and communication with both suppliers and customers.
• Knowledge of Material and Product Certification Requirements (EN 10204, EU PED)
• Strong Background in Manufacturing and fabrication methodology and best practices.

Lifting/carrying/moving 50 lbs, may need to climb ladders cannot be afraid of heights, and will need to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while on site. Involves sitting at a desk for extended periods. Needs a high degree of concentration in a busy area.
